The Futsal WEC 2023 starts today in Burela

The Futsal Women’s European Champions 2023 Friendly Edition kicks off today in Burela. Fans will be able to watch the best women's futsal in the continent, featuring four European champion clubs: Pescados Rubén Burela FS from Spain, SL Benfica from Portugal, Bitonto C5 Femminile from Italy, and FC Marlène from the Netherlands. These four teams will compete for the European throne in the second edition of the Futsal WEC.

Currently, Pescados Rubén Burela FS are the reigning champions, having won the last edition held in 2021 in Lugo.

Pescados Rubén Burela FS, SL Benfica, Bitonto C5 Femminile, and FC Marlène will play a quadrangular format between Tuesday and Thursday. From this preliminary phase, two teams that will compete in the grand final of the championship will emerge. The final will be held on Friday at 20:00 hours in Vista Alegre.

The matches of this first day will be as follows:

• December 19 at 18:00 hours (CET) - SL Benfica VS Bitonto C5 Femminile
• December 19 at 20:30 hours (CET) - Pescados Rubén Burela FS VS FC Marlène
